This is for my fellow dreamers and bibliophiles.
Books are more than just stories; they are places that shape who we are. The "Ask Me What I'm Reading" tee is designed for those who carry their favorite worlds with them wherever they go.
Each piece is a step towards art, slow fashion and conscious creation. The t shirt features a row of book spines, with each "cover" individually patched using sewing machine with ethically sourced handloom scrap fabric from our handloom collections. Because we utilize repurposed scraps, the textures and patterns on your T-shirt will be uniquely yours. The text is hand embroidered.
No two shirts are exactly the same, and the fabrics used for book spines will vary with each order.
This garment is not made in a factory; it is thoughtfully crafted by hand, ensuring that every stitch reflects our commitment to ethical labor and sustainable design.

Finding Your Perfect Fit
We want every piece you take home from Chowringee Bazaar to be one you truly cherish. Since our collections are made in mindful batches, we handle exchanges with a focus on personal care and sustainability.
A Little Help Before You Buy
Shipping back and forth creates unnecessary wastage—for the planet and for our studio’s rhythm. If you’re unsure about a size, the fall of a fabric, or how a cut might sit, please reach out to us at 7666112341.
We’d love to walk you through the measurements or text you more photos. Getting it right the first time saves you the effort of a return later.
How We Handle Exchanges
If the fit isn't quite what you expected, we are happy to assist you with an exchange or a store credit.
Timeline: We welcome exchange requests within 7 days of your order being delivered.
Condition: To be eligible, please ensure the piece remains in its original state- unworn, unwashed, and with all tags intact. We trust you’ll understand that we cannot accept items once tags are removed or if there are signs of wear.
Credit Notes: If you aren't ready to choose a replacement immediately, we will issue a Credit Note for the value of your item. It remains valid for 6 months, so you can take your time to wait for a design that truly speaks to you.
Shipping: As we don't have a large-scale logistics network, we ask our customers to arrange the return courier to our studio and bear the shipping charges.
The Exchange Process
- Start a Conversation: Drop us a message on WhatsApp or email hello@chowringeebazaar.com with your Order ID.
- Send it Back: Once we’ve confirmed your request, please pack the item securely and ship it to our studio address (which we’ll provide).
- Finalizing: After we receive and check the garment, we’ll issue your credit note or ship your new size within 48 hours.
In the rare case that you receive a damaged item, please let us know within 24 hours of delivery so we can prioritize a replacement for you.
