About us

Chowringee Bazaar is a slow fashion brand rooted in Bengali textile heritage. We work with block prints, mulmul, and handcrafted fabrics, made carefully, sold in small drops, with as little waste as we can manage.

The brand started around 2014. We had a physical store in Ghatkopar for about 6 years that had to be paused when life demanded it, and came back in 2025 with more intention and better tailoring. It has shapeshifted over the years. That's just what happens when something grows alongside a person.

Our team is small: a Masterji who knows everything about a good cut, two karigars who are never rushed, and a founder who is also a neuropsychologist and has always been, at heart, a girl who loves textiles and stories.

We don't do trends or large runs. We make things we'd wear ourselves, with people who care how something is made, for customers who notice the difference.

We work with handlooms and roomy silhouettes that allows our body to breathe and relax.

That's it. We're glad you're here.
